Andes Nativa & Andespure programs are developed to support a sustainable tourism in Chile and it is the key to develop our business.
That´s why our programs are carefully identified and organized and these represent the Andepure & Andes Nativa culture.
Main ideas of sustainable tourism that we want to support:

Make optimal use of environmental resources that constitute a key element in tourism development, maintaining essential ecological processes and helping to conserve natural heritage and biodiversity.

Respect the socio-cultural authenticity of host communities, conserve their built and living cultural heritage and traditional values, and contribute to inter-cultural understanding and tolerance.

Ensure viable, long-term economic operations, providing socio-economic benefits to all stakeholders that are fairly distributed, including stable employment and income-earning opportunities and social services to host communities, and contributing to poverty alleviation.

On the other hand, it is important for us having a modern system for supporting sustainably oriented service providers. This concept allows the certification with a “seal of approval for sustainable tourism” in order to recognize the efforts of the best service providers in the tourism industry.

Through our programs we support two main areas:

Conservation, reforestation, and environmental protection in Chile:

With the support of the company Pic Parks, we´ve decided to actively contribute to the conservation of green areas in Chile. The idea is to integrate our travelers and let them be part of this project.
With each booking, Andespure (through its sister brand Andes Nativa) will donate US $ 9 to a conservation project of the traveler´s choice. This corresponds to nature conservation area of nine square meters. Our travelers can choose, before or during their trip, which natural area project they would like us to support.

On each traveler´s Welcome letter, they will find a link ( and the necessary code along with instructions on how to choose a project. Your participation is – of course – completely voluntary.

Ethnic & Cultural Tourism

We focus on working together with diverse indigenous communities, establishing the best ways to make their culture known and achieve their healthy development through programs, allowing indigenous families to benefit in the long term with touristic development, extending this benefit to its future generations.

Each person who chooses an ethnic program will be immersed in their culture will be able to know their traditions and legends that have lived for a thousand years. They also will be able to listen to incredible stories told by the indigenous families themselves. People will have the opportunity to taste recipes that have passed on many generations.

Take the time to watch following video that communicates what we try to reach with our ethnic tours.
